Raelynn had a doctor’s visit today to discuss hip surgery. The doctor didn’t recommend surgery at this time, and instead gave us this new toy! Doctors visits often lead to receiving more assistive medical equipment to help Raelynn’s body work and grow the way it’s supposed to.
Raelynn will wear the Ilfeld hip abduction splint when she goes to bed at night. It’s basically a brace that stretches her legs apart, strengthening her muscles and encouraging her hips to work properly.
