Here’s a video of one of the seizures Raelynn had yesterday. She ended up having just two seizures yesterday, which is on the low end of a normal day for her. This was the second seizure she had, which she had around 7 pm.
It may feel weird to “like” a video such as this, but it really does help us keep making videos of Raelynn’s life with seizures, which helps many parents who are going through similar things.

I need to try to capture the very beginning of her seizure sometime. It’s difficult, of course, because we never know when she will have one, and she can’t communicate with us to let us know when she feels one coming on. Basically, we can hear her begin to have a seizure when she tenses up, and she often lets out a high squeal. After that, I’m often able to get out my phone quickly to start recording her seizure.
It will be amazing if Raelynn ever gets to the point with an eye gaze device that she is able to let us know when she feels a seizure coming. We would be so happy!
