It’s nice to be out, focusing on my health, something I need to do more often.
I’ve been trying to stay on top of things, recording my weight and whether I’m sticking to my diet. Apparently, snapping a pic of your food each day can help with portion control, so maybe tracking my habits will do the same.
Switching gears a bit, I wanted to talk about friendships. Sometimes, I get down on myself for not having those deep, personal connections others seem to have. But my counselor helped me realize it’s normal to feel this way. We tend to idealize others’ relationships, thinking they’re closer than they are. It’s a reminder that while my friendships might not be super close, there are people I can call up and share life with.
As a pastor, I often feel the pressure to have it all together, but the reality is, I struggle too. It’s tough balancing being there for others while needing support myself. Thankfully, some folks from my church watch my videos and offer encouragement. It means a lot.
Just trying to get used to talking more openly and being less edited. I tend to overthink things, you know? But regardless of what’s going on in your life, remember you’re loved and cared for. Reach out to those who matter to you and let them know you appreciate them. Take care, God bless, and catch you next time.
