This video talks about how to cath a girl using a straight catheter. It does not show it explicitly, but does show a diagram.
Raelynn often retains her urine. While she does usually pee on her own, there are also times when she doesn’t. And if she retains too much urine in her bladder, she can get uncomfortable, or infection, or the worst case would be that her bladder would rupture.

The most common time that we have to cath Raelynn is at night. We don’t want her to go to bed with a full bladder, since her food pump continues throughout the night. So we want to make sure her bladder is empty so that she won’t have a problem during the night.
